I Developed HERBLENDS BECAUSE:

I DEVELOPED HERBLENDS to make it as EASY, INEXPENSIVE and as QUICK as possible to be a great and healthy cook, with no more effort that to wave your hand over a pot or a plate.

Once I found the balanced ethnic flavor profiles, milled them into powders. All I need is in just a few jars. Although I rarely use salt I do have sea salt in the cabinet because HERBLENDS do not contain salt.

I developed HERBLENDS as a short cut as an Organic Private Chef to measuring and adjusting seasonings as necessary with a staff of sous chefs.

I developed HERBLENDS because I was carrying a trunk of spices around with me and it took way to much time to find the one spice that would make or break the meal. AND sometimes I kept buying a spice I already had and forgetting the one I was out of (8 boxes of cumin later….. have you ever done that?). The four-pack replace 50 spices and with the Herspanic Three-Pack and Hersweetie I replaced 89 jars, boxes and bags of spices, including some that are very hard to find!

I developed HERBLENDS as a fine powder because I wanted a spice blend that didn’t expire and would hold the integrity of the combined flavor forever.

I milled and sifted the powders to be suitable to use in every stage of seasoning application: a smooth finish without the grit of dried herbs or the punch of fresh when it hits the tongue, for things like batters, sauces, salad dressings and dips or to sprinkle over raw vegetables and fruit.

I milled the spices and herbs because I wanted a homogeny of flavor that would enhance the organic fresh ingredients that I cook with and not become ‘a hit of this or that’.

Fajitas can be served over spinach for what I call 'A Wilted Salad' or with tortillas and salsa. All enhanced with Herspanic, Herspanic Smokey (marinade the skirt steak in that!) and Herspanic Spicy for those that appreciate a kick.
